Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager role at HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L is a critical position responsible for leading the local procurement function in the market. The successful candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic thinking to drive value creation for the company.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of local sourcing plans aligned with regional plans, influencing internal stakeholders to deploy global or regional initiatives locally.
- Master complex negotiations to drive business needs, proactively building levers to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide visibility during budgeting processes, offering market insights on inflation and driving value initiatives to protect local affiliate margins.
- Balance the usage of customized contractual frameworks versus Purchase Orders to meet company objectives of speed and time-to-market.
- Encourage a Lean way of working, ensuring effective transfer of non-core procurement sourcing processes to Shared Service Centers (SSCs) or Regional/Global Procurement Models.
- Manage remote teams and successfully leverage Procurement Operations Centers.
- Review Affiliate business proposals for consistency with laws and company policies, participating on project teams to protect the legal interests of the company.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/commercial functions, with familiarity with market regulatory environments.
- Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, project management skills, negotiation and influencing skills at all levels, and business and financial acumen.
- A university degree in Business Administration/Economics/Trade, with an MBA degree or equivalent being a plus.
- Diploma from a recognized Procurement Institute is an asset.
