As a Large Area Maintenance Shelters (LAMS) Technician at SYNERJE Global Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of LAMS structures.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and passion for working with fabric structures, tensioned shelters, and modular maintenance facilities.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Install and Assemble Structures: Construct, set up, and anchor LAMS structures, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
  • Maintain and Repair Structures: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including structural inspections, fabric repairs, and hardware replacements.
  • Ensure Environmental Compliance: Verify that LAMS structures meet environmental and safety regulations, including wind load assessments, fire safety standards, and storm readiness.
  • Support Electrical and HVAC Systems: Collaborate with electricians and HVAC technicians for proper power distribution, lighting, ventilation, and climate control within the shelters.
  • Maintain Quality Control Records: Keep inspection records, maintenance logs, and service reports to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to OSHA, DoD, and manufacturer safety protocols for working at heights, handling heavy materials, and operating tools/equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in LAMS assembly, maintenance, or industrial tent structures.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fabric tension structures, frame anchoring systems, HVAC integration, and electrical grounding.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • OSHA 10/30 Safety Certification
  • Fall Protection & Confined Space Training
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel to various locations as required for project execution.
