Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef, specializing in Asian cuisine, to join our culinary team at Career Maker Bahrain. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute their expertise and enthusiasm to our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in developing menus and recipes for Asian dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor standards.
• Prepare and cook exceptional Asian cuisine, adhering to presentation and flavor expectations.
• Lead and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment, ensuring optimal workflow.
• Oversee inventory management and supply ordering to guarantee fresh ingredients availability.
• Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to health regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Contribute to managing kitchen labor costs and reducing waste.
• Stay up-to-date on culinary trends, techniques, and Asian cuisine specializations.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a relevant culinary role, specifically in Asian cuisine.
• In-depth knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
