Electronics Systems Integration Specialist

This role involves supporting the maintenance and integration of complex electronics systems, including computer hardware and software in various intelligence architectures. Responsibilities include installation, de-installation, reconfiguration, modification work orders, and updates of sensitive equipment.

Additional tasks include conducting configuration assessments, fielding, testing, modernization, reset, de-fielding, demilitarization, and disposal of electronic systems. Inspections, tests, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on complex antenna and radio frequency distribution systems are also required.

The specialist will perform tests on electrical, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical equipment using specialized test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE), wire diagrams, logic and signal flow charts, technical manuals, troubleshooting charts, performance aids, schematic, and logic diagrams. Repairing analog and fiber optics cables is another aspect of this role.

The position requires performing pre and post flight inspections on Guardrail Common Sensor (GRCS) mission equipment and data link. Submitting standard and non-standard repair parts requests and preparing equipment for transportation or shipment are additional responsibilities.

A bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, with two years of relevant experience or four years of military or civilian equivalent training in MI Systems Maintenance and Integration, is required. Ability to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50lbs is also necessary.

The ideal candidate should have experience with maintenance and integration on one or more of the following: Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance System (EMARSS) mission equipment, Tactical Command Data Link (TDCL), GRCS Operational Ground Station (OGS), Distributed Common Ground Station- Army (DCGS-A), software defined SIGINT collection platforms, biometrics collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination equipment, CI/HUMINT support systems, TROJAN systems, or satellite communication terminals providing TDN2; TENCAP systems or intelligence non-standard equipment.

Familiarity with information assurance certifications for Tier I and II computer, servers, networks, and global intelligence architectures integration is essential. A final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704, is required.
