Procurement Specialist

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth procurement processes from sourcing and vendor negotiations to order management and compliance.
You will be responsible for creating and managing high volumes of purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders, and executing procurement plans to meet KPIs and budgetary targets.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to maintain procurement records, verify data accuracy, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
As a Procurement Officer, you will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to achieve operational efficiency, manage procurement documentation, and monitor contract performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and Procurement: Create and manage purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and execute procurement plans.
- Data Entry and Accuracy: Verify data accuracy, conduct regular data quality checks, and maintain procurement records.
- Organization and Documentation: Organize and maintain procurement documents, ensure compliance with internal policies, and assist in creating procurement tracking systems.
- Collaboration and Confidentiality: Work closely with internal teams, maintain confidentiality, and reinforce trust and integrity in supplier relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in the flowers, gifts, or FMCG industry is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strategic Sourcing: 3+ years of experience understanding local and international markets, analyzing demand trends, and developing negotiation strategies.
- Negotiation Skills: 3+ years of experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Data Management: Ability to enter and verify data efficiently, conduct regular data quality checks, and manage procurement documentation.
- Operational Efficiency: Proven track record of meeting budgets, deadlines, and KPIs, managing procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
