Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Lead to join our team at Vectrus, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is running at optimal levels.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GCSS-Army and TAMMS systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of Technical and Commercial manuals for Servicing, Operational and Repair.
