Job Summary
Vectrus, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of personnel engaged in equipment maintenance functions, including testing, troubleshooting, and repair of various systems. Your expertise in Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-Army) and the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities
* Lead a team of personnel in equipment maintenance functions, including testing, troubleshooting, and repair of various systems
* Utilize GCSS-Army and TAMMS to monitor daily shop operations and maintenance-related supply transactions
* Analyze malfunctions and lead personnel engaged in field-level maintenance operations
* Conduct planning and scheduling of maintenance and services for all assigned equipment
* Establish maintenance and repair schedules based on equipment schedules and availability of parts, tools, and personnel
* Prepare personnel work schedules and monitor performance of subordinates
* Hand receipt holder for tools, equipment, and spare parts assigned to the section
* Monitor work orders/production on all assigned equipment requiring corrective action
* Ensure daily reporting is annotated with current and updated information
* Maintain bench stock and POL in accordance with applicable regulations
* Determine the causes of equipment readiness deficiencies, take corrective action within their areas of responsibility, and provide feedback on systemic readiness problems
* Adhere to Performance Work Statement and enforce standards within the work area
* Provides reports on safety, quality, supply, and maintenance issues
* Performs routine inspections on internal sections
* Prepares and presents/submits reports and briefings to management or for external agencies
* Oversees driver's training program for heavy equipment, special purpose equipment, and MHE
* Performs environmental control duties
* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
* Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be U. S. Citizen/CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a CAC. Ability to obtain a Host Country Driver's License and Host Country Heavy Duty Kuwaiti Driver's License. US Driver's License must be valid at least 18 to 24 months from Hiring Date. Certifications: Certification in GCSS Army is required. Caterpillar Certification preferred. RETCH Certification preferred. EPA 608, type I, type II, type III/universal and 609 Certification. ASE Certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of maintenance and supply management experience with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity. Prior military training in Engineer, Utilities, Power generation, or Construction Equipment Maintenance or civilian equivalent. Desired Skills: Possesses thorough knowledge of GCSS-Army. Possesses in-depth knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and Class IX Supply operations. Must have effective communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, Service and Repair HVAC Systems on different variations of equipment. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, Service and Repair Caterpillar engines and equipment. Possesses good customer service, interpersonal and leadership skills. Must be knowledgeable of/possesses the ability to identify the military rank structure. Must have expert knowledge of Technical and Commercial manuals for Servicing, Operational and Repair so that the correct procedures are used on the proper equipment. Possesses ability to perform root cause analysis and prepare Corrective Actions Plans. Must have full knowledge of management and usage of TMDE. Familiar with the Army Logistics Readiness and Sustainability Program. Must be proficient performing in troubleshooting and automotive & Power generation systems. Must be proficient in all phases of the paperwork that pertains to the Services, maintenance, repairs, classification and L/P. Possesses expert knowledge of the maintenance prints so as to be able to establish workload priority & ESR. Possesses expert knowledge of equipment operations and driver certification program. Must be able to function effectively with little to no guidance. Possesses excellent computer skills (MS Word, Power Point and Excel). Knowledgeable of OSHA and Environmental compliance policies, laws, regulations and procedures.

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
