About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer Senior to join our team. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of our clients' systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage system/server resources, including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability of Linux.
  • Perform regular system maintenance in support of IAVA vulnerabilities and CCRI compliance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Linux configurations, system architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education / Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering or related field.
  • IAT Level: IAT III.
  • Baseline certifications include Cisco CCNP: Security, CompTIA CASP+, ISACA CISA, ISC2 CISSP (or Associate), GIAC GCED, and GIAC GCIH.
  • Computing Environment certifications include Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), SUSE Certified Engineer (SCE), and Oracle Linux 8 Advanced System Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten years of experience in administrative, technical work, which demonstrated the ability and aptitudes required to perform technical, managerial, or analytical work and coordination involving management information systems.
