Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for coordinating with buyers and supporting purchases for MAF Retail. This position requires a skilled professional who can assist in selecting and examining products that get to store shelves, catalogues, and online.

This role involves implementing effective strategies for sourcing goods and maintaining desired stock levels. The successful candidate will research and review new products to meet company goals and prepare and review purchase details of orders and deliveries.

The ideal candidate will engage in sourcing the best quality products for competitive prices aligned with the organization's objectives. Additionally, they will manage the issuances of tenders and RFQs to the market in coordination with relevant business users within MAF Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective procurement strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Research and review new products to meet company goals.
  • Prepare and review purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  • Suggest new suppliers with long-term cost savings or quality improvement.
  • Engage in sourcing high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Manage tender and RFQ processes in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Mastery in retail/FMCG industry preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
