HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L is seeking a skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data collection, formulate reports, and interact daily with USG customers.
  • Ensure environmental specialist personnel complete tasks according to Public Works Safety Policy, Performance Work Statement, and LOGCAP V Environmental, Safety & Health directives.
  • Correctly capture data related to environmental compliance work orders for environmental services, environmental inspections, and urgent/emergency situations.
  • Assist in developing manuals, plans, work instructions, maintain records, assist with preparing various reports and slides.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas in accordance with V2Z LOGCAP V Performance.
  • Perform routine inspections of all assigned areas and evaluate total work of employees against established standards, ensuring training needs are met, and counseling on job performance.
  • Transport supplies to various work sites to ensure compliance at sites.
  • Knowledge of PWS, Technical Exhibits, Plans, and Internal Work Instructions.
  • Inspect Environmental Subcontract SOWs for compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate supplies with Regulatory Compliance sections.
  • Assessment of environmental impact sites, inspections/annual audits.
  • Driving to other LCV camps is required, i.e., Buehring, KNB, SPOD, APOD, Ali Al Salem.
  • Other duties assigned as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School diploma (Associate degree a plus)
    • Training related to Environmental services
    • Familiarized with environmental training on proper handling of hazardous materials, hazardous communication.
    • Valid home country and host nations local Kuwait driver's license (driving is required)
    • HAZWOPER 40 hr. certification/keep up annual 24-hour or 8 hours refresher training as required
    • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English/Level 4.
    • Valid passport
    • Ability to obtain Kuwait VISA.
  • Experience:
    • Two years' experience
  • Skills:
    • Practices, methods, equipment, tools, and materials used in environmental compliance work.
    • Principles and practices of working safely.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications required.
    • Must be flexible and have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to recognize and quickly resolve customer issues, lead the environmental compliance team, and work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
