The Pest Controller Lead is responsible for assigning tasks to pest control specialists, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and overseeing residential, commercial, and industrial pest management services.
The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of laws governing the application of controlled and non-controlled pesticides and herbicides. They will coordinate work/inspections with facility managers/occupants, research materials, prepare necessary documents, and respond to emergency service calls during regular hours or after-duty on-call hours.
Main Responsibilities:- Assign tasks to pest control specialists and monitor their progress.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with facility managers to schedule inspections and work activities.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation and records.
- Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; related experience may be substituted for education.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pesticide applicator license required.
- Minimum two years of experience in pest control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to use computer-automated systems.
- Work in extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
- Indoor and outdoor settings with adverse conditions.
- Some industrial production environment exposure.
- Light physical activity requiring up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
