Job Description
We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our team. As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standards and qualities. Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Working closely with the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie to ensure seamless daily operations.
  2. Preparing and presenting dishes according to the menu specifications provided by the Chef de Partie.
  3. Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times, adhering to the hotel's rules and regulations.
  4. Controlling food stock and cost in your section, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  5. Preparing mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the Pastry & main kitchen.
  6. Following instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
  7. Ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation, staying up-to-date with new products, recipes, and techniques.
  8. Coordinating with other sections regarding requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
