Storekeeper Role

As a key team member, the storekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities.

  • Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Taking delivery of all incoming materials and reconciling with purchase orders
  • Tracking, documenting, and resolving any discrepancies on received orders
  • Maintaining the accuracy of inventory records by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
  • Managing inventory levels to ensure they remain within established limits
  • Keeping up-to-date records of receipts, deliveries, and withdrawals from the stockroom
  • Packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies as required
  • Responsible for stock rotation and coordinating the disposal of surplus items
  • Oversight of freight handling, equipment movement, and minor repairs
  • Managing supplier relations and maintaining high ethical standards both internally and externally
  • Performing purchasing activities
  • Coordinating company accommodation and performing maintenance activities
  • Responsible for managing company fleet licenses
    • Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in storekeeping
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is also preferred)
  • Physical fitness to carry out daily functions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Well-presented and professional demeanor
  • Prior experience in facility management or warehouse environments is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High School diploma or equivalent education level
