Job Title: Complex Audit Engagement Lead
Description
We are looking for a highly skilled audit team manager to lead our Kuwait Audit team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of complex audit engagements and supporting the growth of our Audit business. You will develop and execute audit strategies, manage teams and assist in financial management.
Responsibilities
- Define the audit strategy in consultation with senior management.
- Execute the audit strategy, ensuring compliance with our policies and protocols.
- Manage the delivery of audit engagements, including coordinating with stakeholders.
- Oversee the performance of audit teams and provide guidance on best practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic record, including a degree and accounting qualification.
- No less than seven years of professional experience in external audit.
- Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and experience managing teams.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Experience of risk-based audit process.
- An understanding of currently applicable and upcoming IFRS.
