Job Summary

The Maintenance Operations Manager oversees the maintenance and supply management of equipment, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to military regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of maintenance personnel, guaranteeing tasks are properly accounted for and completed according to established procedures.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance services for assigned equipment, utilizing GCSS-Army to manage daily maintenance functions.
  • Hold responsibility for tools, equipment, and spare parts assigned to the section, supervising performance of sensitive/controlled items inventories.
  • Monitor work orders and production for all equipment requiring corrective action, track equipment services, PMCS, administrative services, and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure recoverable items compliance with exchange pricing and recoverable items program.
  • Identify causes of equipment readiness issues, take corrective actions, and provide feedback on systemic problems.
  • Enforce LOGCAP performance standards within the work area.
  • Provide safety, quality, supply, and maintenance reports, prepare and present reports and briefings to management or external agencies.
  • Perform environmental control duties, communicate professionally in oral and written forms.
  • Analyze and brief reports on maintenance schedules, performance, and trends across the A.O.R.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; military training or civilian experience in maintenance and supply management preferred.
  • Able to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle and Kuwait Heavy Driver's Licenses, GCSS-Army or other STAMIS certification required.
  • Able to obtain host nation driver license, must be CAC eligible or able to obtain a CAC.

Experience: 4-6 years in maintenance and supply management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles, requires strong supervisory, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Skills include thorough knowledge of GCSS-Army, TAMMS, Class IX Supply, troubleshooting, automotive systems, and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
