We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Event Coordinator to join our team:

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in audio, video, and lighting systems, with excellent technical skills and the ability to work well under pressure.


Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain audio, video, and event lighting systems.
  • Design, install, and program audio/video systems.
  • Provide live event services for ceremonies, concerts, and other events.
  • Maintain all deployable audio and visual systems to manufacturer's standards.
  • Maintain the ability to deploy two event audio systems simultaneously.
  • Maintain accountability of all Audio Visual GFE through regular property audits.
  • Perform property management services for the Audio-Visual Department.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Requirements:

  • Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Secret Clearance and ability to maintain required Clearance.
  • Meets requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for NIPRNET access.
  • Effective communication of technical information in English, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service training.
  • Able to obtain host nation driver's license with heavy vehicle endorsement.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Infocom CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification preferred.
  • AMX, ACE-D, ACE-I, and ACE-P preferred.
  • Extron AV Associate certification preferred.


SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Audio-visual system design, installation, and programming.
  • Live audio, video, and light mixing.
  • Power distribution knowledge.
  • Audio and video cable termination.
  • Audio, video, and lighting system calibration.
  • Excellent technical skills with electrical equipment and IT.
  • Creative problem-solving ability.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and also on your own initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Flexible approach for dealing with varied tasks.
  • Awareness of electrical safety issues.
  • Good communication and customer care skills.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.
  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
