We are seeking an organized and efficient Academic Administrative Officer to join our team. This is a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our department.
About the Role- Provide exceptional administrative support to the department, including preparing correspondence, taking minutes, and filing.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the department, offering outstanding client service to students and staff.
- Facilitate the flow of information within the department, handling confidential matters and referring them to relevant staff members or faculty.
- Offer mutual backup and organizational support to colleagues within the department.
- Follow up on absent students and notify the Office of Registrar for further action.
- Collaborate with instructors to prepare student progress reports when required.
- Ensure completion of all semester requirements as assigned by the Head of School.
- Undertake additional duties and projects under the direction of the Head of Program.
- Formal qualification in Office Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in office administration, preferably in a customer service environment.
- Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn other software packages.
- High proficiency in English language, with Arabic being an advantage.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team.
- Initiative, judgment, discretion, confidentiality, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
