Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This role will involve providing exceptional customer service, managing the store floor, and ensuring that all sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Greet customers and provide assistance to ensure their needs are met promptly and in accordance with quality and customer service standards.
  2. Assist customers in their purchase decisions by helping them select relevant and appropriate products, offering proper advice, and suggesting vouchers when applicable.
  3. Arrange and replenish the shop continuously, keeping the shop floor and shelves clean and tidy at all times.
  4. Monitor security risks and thefts, escalating incidents to management promptly to prevent loss.
  5. Arrange and display received merchandise under the direction of the Merchandiser/Shop Manager; update price tags during promotions or as needed.
  6. Upsell and cross-sell products and services to meet hourly and daily sales targets.
  7. Inform the Department Manager of unavailable or non-performing products.
  8. Merchandise products appropriately based on sales trends, release dates, and Department Manager recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant retail experience
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and professional selling techniques
  • Strong customer focus with excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong team player
