Aircraft Spares Coordinator Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing aircraft spares requests, ensuring timely receipt and processing. Key tasks include:

  • Managing exchange orders for pool items, tracking core returns, and following up on deliveries.
  • Requesting and analyzing quotations for out-of-contract items, placing orders accordingly.
  • Maintaining records in an inventory management system, generating reports, and providing daily status updates on requests and orders.

Main Responsibilities:

To ensure availability of materials, the ideal candidate should monitor Minimum/Maximum stock levels and oversee Home Base Spares and On-Site Stock, arranging necessary shipments. They will collaborate with technical planning for scheduled maintenance, modification kits, Hard Time Components, and Emergency Equipment to guarantee timely delivery of required materials.

  • Track and resolve AOG situations effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management, with at least 7 years related work experience in aviation materials and supply chain, including 3 years in a supervisory position. Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills are essential, along with excellent proficiency in English. Familiarity with EASA Part M, EASA Part 145, and Kuwait DGCA regulations is also required. Additionally, knowledge of authorized release certificates, shop finding/visit reports, MSDS, and certificate of conformity is necessary. The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of aircraft parts such as routable, consumable, and expendable items.

Preferred Training and Certifications:

Dangerous goods (hazmat materials), Part M/CAMO Training, Human Factors Training, Safety management System, Fuel Tank Safety - Phase 1, Aviation Security, and ERP System Training are preferred qualifications.
