Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to support Army Force Protection in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT field support and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive installs and de-installs of various systems
  2. Remove hardware and replace it with new equipment as needed
  3. Reconfigure and re-image software to ensure optimal performance
  4. Test electronics for communication and network connections
  5. Perform system status checks to guarantee full mission capability
  6. Apply software patches and updates as required
  7. Build network stacks using multiple pieces of equipment from different vendors
  8. Complete work orders in COLTS logistics database
  9. Conduct periodic maintenance and testing
  10. Document and maintain maintenance and test plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two or more years of experience; Master's degree and zero years of related experience; four years of experience considered in lieu of degree
  • IT field support experience
  • Technical expertise in IT systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
  • COLTS logistics database proficiency

Clearance Requirements

US Citizenship required; Minimum Secret clearance required
