Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Network Engineer to support our Enterprise-class infrastructure. Our team of experts provides optimization, administration, and technical documentation of all enterprise infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level support for large-scale networking infrastructure, including data center hardware such as Nexus 3K/5K/9K, Fabric Extenders, UCS chassis, and UCS Fabric Interconnects.
  • Assume the expert role regarding vPC, FCoE, Catalyst VSS, MPLS L3VPN, MPLS Traffic Engineering, eBGP/iBGP, OSPF/EIGRP, DMVPN, QOS, and FlexPod design philosophy.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the data center environment, providing change control and engaging Cisco TAC when needed.
  • Monitor availability and reliability of the data center network and supported infrastructure using Spectrum and Solarwinds Orion.
  • Execute engineering best practices in network builds, integration, testing, and documentation while adhering to security fundamentals provided by DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Assess networking requirements and provide solutions.
  • Make accurate and independent decisions under pressure.
  • Work in a customer service-oriented company.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
