A Director of Marketing Communications will lead the development and execution of global marketing communications initiatives, driving demand for company products and brand. They will oversee the management of the marketing communications department, creating and executing external communication and advertising campaigns to sustain dependability in corporate image.

This role requires a professional with strong knowledge of Kuwaiti advertising and media sectors, excellent presentation skills, and creative flair. The ideal candidate should be able to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment and exhibit appropriate sensitivities.

The Director of Marketing Communications will supervise advertising campaigns, manage brand delivery, and build and manage the corporate communications team. They will also lead the social media team and strategy, determine the best social media tactics, and provide guidance and direction to the social media team.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic internal and external communications strategies, ensuring new communication campaigns are aimed at reaching sales targets, and managing brand consistency across all markets for all product lines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

8-9 years of experience in advertising or promotional activities in the telecommunications sector.

3+ year's management experience.

Strong knowledge of the Kuwaiti advertising and media sector.

Creative flair and excellent presentation skills.

Ability to understand and execute the measurement of results and act appropriately to improve efforts.

Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.

Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Media, Advertising or related discipline.
  • Appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute.
