Job Title: Oracle Specialist

Job Summary:
The Oracle Specialist will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop technical solutions. This includes innovating new ideas to increase sales, save costs, and enhance control. The Specialist will implement and develop new systems to achieve high efficiency and productivity, ensuring the Database is up-to-date and conducting DB maintenance periodically.

Key Responsibilities:
Oracle Symphony POS System Management: Oversee daily operations, perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
Coordinate with Oracle support for advanced troubleshooting and system updates.
Hospitality Management: Ensure the POS system is configured to meet F&B operations needs, customize and optimize the system to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
Manage user accounts and access permissions for the POS system.
Inventory Management: Integrate the Oracle Symphony POS system with inventory management software, monitor inventory levels, and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Develop and implement inventory management best practices.
Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to staff for Oracle Symphony POS and inventory management systems, conduct training sessions, and create documentation for system processes and procedures.
Project Management: Lead and participate in projects related to system upgrades, new feature implementations, and process improvements, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact with Oracle and other related vendors, manage vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure optimal support and services.

Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Oracle Hospitality systems, particularly Oracle Symphony POS. Strong understanding of on-premises Oracle solutions and Cloud-based Oracle solutions. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the F&B industry is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to support system updates or resolve critical issues. Must be able to travel to different company locations as needed.
