Job Description- We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of all civil works and construction projects within the company premises.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and supporting the ongoing development of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of civil construction, renovation, and maintenance projects within the factory and surrounding facilities.
- Preparation of detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Conducting site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality specifications.
- Coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Supervision and monitoring of subcontractors and construction teams to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Providing regular progress reports to the management team.
- Review and approval of technical drawings, structural designs, and material specifications.
- Assistance in facilities planning and development for future expansion projects.
- Recommendation of cost-effective solutions and innovations in construction techniques and materials.
- Handling repair and preventive maintenance of civil structures, including flooring, drainage systems, roads, and building exteriors.
- Preparation and management of budgets for civil engineering projects, including acquiring and evaluating quotations from contractors.
- Drafting and managing formal correspondence with government entities.
- Liaising with internal contracts and receiving departments for effective coordination of civil works.
- Preparing documentation, letters, and reports in both English and Arabic.
- Applying cost-cutting strategies and efficient planning to reduce operational expenditure without compromising quality.
