Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to manage the construction and maintenance of new and renovation projects as well as daily maintenance of facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business unit requirements for construction, renovation, and maintenance of facilities and develop action plans to meet these needs.
  • Invite quotations from consultants for new projects upon approval from senior management.
  • Review quotations, prepare relevant documents, and submit recommendations to senior management for final review and approval.
  • Examine consultant-prepared drawings for design, specifications, and tender documents and report to senior management for discussion and approval.
  • Prepare layouts, review bill of quantity, and invite quotations from contractors for renovation projects after approval from senior management.
  • Invite tenders from contracting companies, review tender details, and follow up on work completion according to contract terms.
  • Monitor project progress, visit sites, and ensure completion within scheduled timeframes, safety standards, and quality. Arrange payments according to work progress and add projects to maintenance schedules after contractor's guarantee expires.
  • Ensure timely completion of renovation work and adherence to safety standards, adding projects to maintenance schedules after completion.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance safety standards at various sites to prevent potential hazards or risks.
  • Address escalated site problems during maintenance and modification works, resolving them promptly.
  • Review customer feedback and provide recommendations to senior management to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Train technical staff at site offices on Quality Management Systems.
