This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Hyatt International. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen operation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry cuisine and excellent leadership skills. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the kitchen operation and administration to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations are run in accordance with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards and specifically pastry experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
