Job Description

This role is part of a Kuwaitization initiative to enhance local talent within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

Support coring operations at the wellsite, operating basic systems unsupervised with the coring supervisor present. Ensure safe handling and processing of core samples.

  • Interact with customers and drilling contractors to meet operational requirements and needs.
  • Operate wireline and conventional coring systems with minimal supervision.
  • Manage personnel and equipment effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in pre-job checks and safety meetings.
  • Select appropriate core head configurations and cutter shapes based on application.
  • Complete necessary documentation and acquire additional information as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering or Geology Degree preferred.
  • Experience in a similar operational position within Oil and Gas.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Drilling & Completion Process.
  • Basic understanding of Geology.
