Job Summary:
Safety professionals are pivotal in ensuring a secure working environment. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety protocols across various work sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Assessment and Safety Planning: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs) to mitigate these risks.
  2. Maintenance and Reporting: Regularly attend meetings with management to discuss inspection plans, close actions, and track progress. Conduct daily audits and inspections, documenting findings and communicating them to stakeholders.
  3. Audit and Inspection Compliance: Investigate accidents, analyze root causes, and issue safety alerts to prevent future incidents.
  4. Employee Training and Development: Design and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors on-site, including monthly mass toolbox talks.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Arrange regular safety meetings with Business Units and managers to discuss ongoing initiatives and address concerns.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Maintain and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of safety initiatives.


Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Certifications: NEBOSH and IOSH certifications
  • Work Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in safety management
