Front of House Manager Job Description

The Front of House Manager is a pivotal role that oversees the daily operations at a leading venue in New York City. This position requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to multitask, strong leadership qualities, and a focus on delivering premium food and beverage quality along with unparalleled customer service.

This key position involves managing a team of staff, including scheduling, training, and development. It also entails overseeing inventory and ordering, as well as training and supervising alcoholic beverage service. Furthermore, the Front of House Manager collaborates with the production team to coordinate catering events tied to shows, maintains positive relationships with staff, clients, and venue management, negotiates with vendors to optimize costs, and coordinates with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to maximize results.
