Job Title: Camp Security Officer

  • This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises 24/7.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to handle worker-related concerns tactfully, and demonstrate a commitment to upholding health and safety standards in the camp environment.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Camp Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Guarding the camp and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the premises at all times.
  • Reporting any emergencies or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
  • Coordinating with management and maintenance teams as needed.
  • Ensuring gates and lighting systems are secured at night.
  • Overseeing daily operations of the workers' accommodation/camp.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the camp facilities.
  • Managing room allocations and maintaining an updated accommodation roster.
  • Monitoring attendance and reporting absences or irregularities to HR/Admin.
  • Coordinating with catering services to ensure timely and adequate meal distribution.
  • Handling grievances or concerns raised by workers regarding living conditions.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations inside the camp.
  • Supervising camp staff (e.g., cleaners, maintenance crew, security).
  • Maintaining inventory of camp supplies (e.g., bedding, cleaning materials).
  • Coordinating transportation of workers between camp and project site if required.
  • Reporting repairs and maintenance issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Liaising with HR/admin for new arrivals, departures, and transfers.
  • Enforcing camp rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure facility standards are maintained.
