**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic and engaged full-time faculty member to join our School of Architecture and Design. As an instructor of interior design, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, developing curriculum, and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach studio coursework and technical or supplemental courses related to interior design
- Develop and update curriculum to reflect industry trends and technologies
- Mentor students and provide guidance on their academic and professional development
- Collaborate with faculty members from various disciplines to create a comprehensive learning environment
- Engage in research and scholarly activities to advance the field of interior design
Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 5 years of experience in interior design and university teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Knowledge of standard industry tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D Max
