Responsibilities
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and posting all duty & taxes invoices on a daily basis in the financial system.
  • Generating and preparing credit customer codes for verified customer contracts in COMPANY systems.
  • Verifying customer contracts received from Sales/Freight teams as per guidelines and ensuring they are signed, stamped, and supported by necessary documents before forwarding for code creation in the system.
  • Preparing schedules for all accruals & prepaid expenses and other related finance tasks.
  • Preparing Fixed Assets Register and ensuring efficient disposal of COMPANY fixed assets in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Preparation of Accounts Receivable (A-R) and Non-Accounts Receivable Journal Vouchers (JV) in the system.
  • Maintaining Accounts Payable (AP) records, including utility bills, supplier invoices, and employee salaries.
  • Reconciling bank statements and company book balances against issued cheques.
  • Preparing and posting return cheques in the system.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Preparing monthly payroll reports and allocating expense for payroll.
  • Booking and preparation of reconciliation of (COMPANY) Companies Fixed deposit account placement by the company in the bank monthly.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
