Cybersecurity Professional

An experienced cybersecurity expert is needed to provide expertise in banking/financial sector security. With 15+ years in IT security, the ideal candidate will have 10-12+ years specifically in cybersecurity (threat intelligence, network security, SIEM, compliance, and incident response). Proficiency in ISO 27001, NIST, and financial regulatory standards is required.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Threat Intelligence Collection & Analysis
  • Collect and analyze threat intelligence from various sources.
  • Communicate cybersecurity alerts across the organization.
  • Investigate suspicious emails, network anomalies, and security weaknesses.
  1. Network Security & Vulnerability Management
  • Assess the security posture of firewalls, IPS/IDS, routers, switches, and SIEM solutions.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance audits.
  • Administer EDR, DLP, ATP, and sandboxing tools.
  1. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 27001, BS 22301, NIST, and banking security policies.
  • Participate in IT audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance checks.
  1. Incident Response & Business Continuity
  • Lead security incident identification, containment, and eradication.
  • Develop and enforce IT disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) plans.
  1. Security Strategy & Advisory Services
  • Offer strategic guidance on emerging threats, security trends, and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to new projects from a cybersecurity perspective (design to implementation).
  1. Knowledge Sharing & Training
  • Conduct security awareness training for internal teams.
  • Mentor junior security staff and ensure knowledge handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Technical Skills
  • Mandatory requirements:
    • 15+ years in IT, with 10-12+ years in cybersecurity (banking/financial sector).
    • Proficient in SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS, EDR, DLP, VPN, and vulnerability management.
    • Hands-on experience in threat intelligence, incident response, and network traffic analysis.
    • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and financial security regulations.
  1. Certifications (Preferred)
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCIE Security (mandatory).
  • Vendor certifications (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Splunk, CrowdStrike).
