Information Security Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead our security operations team. This role requires exceptional skills in security operations, threat modeling, and risk management.
You will design and implement technical security controls that ensure security threats are automatically identified, contained, and remediated. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of Canonical's security practices, techniques, tools, systems, and policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in computer science or a related field and significant experience working in or leading a Security Operation Center.
You should have expertise in threat modeling and risk management frameworks, knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools, and experience contributing to and consuming threat intelligence feeds.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement technical security controls to identify, contain, and remediate security threats and cyber attacks
- Contribute to the development of Canonical's security practices, techniques, tools, systems, and policies
- Lead the growth and presence of Canonical SecOps practice through thought leadership and open-source contributions
- Develop and publish security-related content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, and conference presentations
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for security operations
