Job Title: Architectural Services Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Building Services Specialist to provide architectural services in support of projects, working closely with project teams and clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate specific requirements to identify issues that may influence concept designs and work closely with the Project Architect and Client.
  2. Create architectural concept designs, prepare drawings for presentation to the client, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Modify approved concept designs into functional and efficient schematic arrangements, collaborating with other disciplines to achieve optimal results.
  4. Prepare statutory authority submissions in accordance with agreed time schedules and ensure timely completion.
  5. Develop design development drawings, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Write reports as directed by the Project Architect or Senior Architect, providing accurate and detailed information on project progress.
  7. Investigate specific items and prepare documents as required, ensuring all necessary information is captured and recorded.
  8. Prepare construction drawings, conduct site inspections, and attend meetings when necessary to ensure effective project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Bachelor of Science (Arch) or Diploma in Architecture degree, with professional registration in the country of origin and Kuwait Society of Engineers.
  • 5-7 years post-graduation experience in an architectural practice, with expertise in preparing working drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit 3D software, with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
