Airport Operations Director

Jazeera Airways, a pioneering Low-Cost Carrier in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Airport Operations Director to lead the management of its state-of-the-art Jazeera Passenger Terminal (T5). With a vision to become a world-class facility serving over 7.5 million passengers annually by 2027 and expanding to 10 million by 2029, we need a seasoned professional to oversee the terminal's operational and commercial aspects.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, profitable, and efficient operation of Terminal 5, providing strategic direction for business and operational planning, and overseeing non-aeronautical revenue generation. They will also determine and implement quality control, safety, and security policies, manage safety risks and security threats, and monitor expenditure to implement new projects and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop yearly business and operational plans considering safety and security outcomes, resource requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain excellent financial operating performance through close working relationships with other divisions.
- Oversee and maximize non-aeronautical revenue generation through lease of landside and airside retail spaces.
- Determine and implement quality control, safety, and security policies.
