About the Job

This role is responsible for managing installation access programs, operating the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS), and reviewing various documents to ensure consistency within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Granting of installation access badges to include enrolling Locally Employed Persons (LEPs).
  • Receiving and relaying pertinent communication.
  • Reviewing all installation access applications in accordance with ASG-KU policy.
  • Updating barment rosters to deny unauthorized individuals onto the installation.
  • Inventorizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DBIDS equipment.
  • Performing other duties or assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • A High School diploma is required, and an AA or BA/BS Degree is preferred.
  • Citizenship:
    • US Citizenship is required.
  • Age:
    • The candidate must be at least 21 years old.
  • Licenses:
    • A valid US Tourist Passport is necessary.
    • A current and valid US Driver's License is also required.
  • Clearance:
    • The ability to meet United States Government (USG) security requirements is essential.
    • A Secret Clearance eligibility is necessary.
  • Experience:
    • Computer experience with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.
    • Prior DBIDS experience is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent computer skills and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
  • Working Conditions:
    • The candidate must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • The work environment may be indoors or outdoors with adverse conditions including hot desert temperatures.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • The job requires light work exertion up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
    • Heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, sitting, and working with protective devices may be required.
