Registrar of Orthopedics Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registrar of Orthopedics to join our team at Taiba Hospital in Al Kuwait, Kuwait.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedics and excellent communication skills. The role involves providing an orthopedic service under the supervision of the Orthopedic Consultant and supporting specialists in their duties.

Responsibilities:
• Assess patients from the Emergency Department
• Attend daily ward rounds with the Orthopedic team
• Review patients on a regular basis and inform consultants of any issues or problems
• Document review findings in clinical notes in a timely and legible manner
• Cover Operating Room duties as assigned
• Assist in covering for unexpected absence and handling unscheduled emergency cases
• Participate in Registrar on call Rota and provide cover in exceptional circumstances for colleagues' absence

Skill Requirements:
• Good organizational ability and excellent communication skills
• Emotional strength
• Ability to assume greater responsibility in matters of patient care
• Ability to deal calmly, with tact, and diplomacy with patients and staff alike

Education and Experience:
A Master Degree in Orthopedics is required, and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. You must be flexible and willing to work in shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
