A beverage service expert is responsible for providing guests with food and drinks as requested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedure and regulations.

  • Manage a well-operated beverage service that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop expertise in all areas of beverage supervision to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables as requested by guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all equipment used during shifts to prevent contamination and ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Show complete awareness of drink and food menus and be prepared to explain and recommend items to guests.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures regarding disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Maximize revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, effective training, and motivational techniques.
  • Demonstrate perfect knowledge of all beverages served, how they are prepared (to recipe), and presented, and how staff are trained to possess this knowledge and apply it effectively.
  • Meet or exceed monthly drink profit margin targets.
