Job Title: Contract Management Specialist

Role Overview

This highly specialized role requires expertise in contract management, involving interpreting contract requirements, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Planning and Execution: Develop and implement proposal plans and approaches to meet contractual requirements.
  • Cost Estimation and Formulation: Collaborate with the cost estimator to define cost formulations and summaries.
  • Customer Negotiations: Lead customer negotiations and ensure warranty and contract particulars are addressed.
  • Post-Award Communications: Manage post-award communications with the customer contract personnel.
  • Contract Close-Outs: Initiate contract close-outs and respond to FOIA requests.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional competence through training and development.
  • Nondisclosure and Teaming Agreements: Administer execution of Nondisclosure and Teaming Agreements.
  • Contract Specifications: Review and interpret contract specifications and deliverable requirements.
  • Contract Performance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance and respond to customer CPARs.
  • Contract Administration: Provide pre- and post-award administration of various contract types.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 4 years of experience.
  • Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Preferred Certifications: NCMA membership.
  • CAC Eligibility: CAC eligibility and/or ability to obtain a CAC.
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience related to contracting, purchasing, and pricing.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Extreme Weather Conditions: Work in extreme weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 120°F.
  • Indoor and Outdoor Environments: Indoor and outdoor environments with harsh conditions.
  • Physical Activity: Physical activity may include lifting up to 20 pounds, stooping, climbing, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
