Access Control System Manager

Job Description:

Overview

This position will be physically located in Kuwait and is part of the LOGCAP program. The incumbent will manage the Defense Biometrics Identification System, performing various duties related to the development and/or management of the Installation Access Control Program.

The successful candidate will monitor biometrics enrollment data and functions related to the Installation Access Control Program. They will also perform technical reviews and analysis to ensure that resources supplied to subordinate commands are used in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities
  • Review all installation access applications in accordance with Installation Access policy.
  • Register all US Military, DOD Civilians, DOD Contractors & OCN personnel into DBIDS by category.
  • Register fleet vehicles for Military Units.
  • Update barament rosters denying unauthorized individuals onto the installation.
  • Inventory and troubleshoot all DBIDS Equipment with issues.
  • Educate Pass & ID Clerks and Operators on DBIDS utilization.
  • Maintain needed software updates and coordinate with DMDC to fix non-operational equipment.
