Job Summary:
This position is responsible for operating the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) and performing duties related to the development and operation of Installation Access Programs. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Installation Access Supervisor to ensure consistency with organizational functions.
Responsibilities- Granting of installation access badges, including enrolling all Locally Employed Persons (LEPs).
- Receives and relays pertinent communications.
- Reviews all installation access applications in accordance with ASG-KU policy.
- Updates barment rosters to deny unauthorized individuals access to the installation.
- Inventories, maintains, and troubleshoots all DBIDS equipment.
- Performs other duties or assignments as required.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required; AA or BA/BS degree preferred.
- US Citizenship required.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid US Tourist Passport.
- Current and valid US Driver's License.
- Ability to meet USG security requirements.
- Ability to obtain a host country driver's license.
- Must be Secret Clearance eligible or able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Work Environment:
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F.
- Indoor and outdoor environments with harsh conditions, including hot, dry, desert environments, and industrial settings.
