Operational Risk Manager
Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Operational Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling/mitigating, and reporting operational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with Business Risk Officers (BROs) to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the Operational Risk framework and their accountabilities.
- Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to identify risks and provide guidance on developing necessary controls and processes to manage those risks.
- Ensure BROs complete comprehensive assessments of operational risks.
- Verify that outcomes are reported to BUs in a timely manner.
- Review, evaluate, and report on:
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and tolerance levels to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to gauge the effectiveness of risk management practices.
- Control Incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Operational Loss Data collection processes to enhance risk intelligence.
- Conduct operational risk assessment reviews of new products, activities, processes, and systems to ensure compliance and mitigated risk.
- Review internal and external audit reports to provide an independent opinion on the need for controls.
