The Maintenance Technical Lead is a critical role within our facilities management team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance of various equipment and systems within our facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of fitness center equipment, appliances, pool maintenance equipment, and grounds maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Fitness Center Equipment: Our state-of-the-art fitness center features a range of cardio machines and free weights. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing these equipment to ensure they are always available for use.

  • Appliances: We have a variety of household appliances, laundry machines, and popcorn machines that require regular maintenance. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining these appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.

  • Pool Maintenance: Our pool area requires regular maintenance to ensure it remains safe and enjoyable for our users. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of pool equipment and systems.

  • Lodging Equipment: We have a range of lodging equipment, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, mattresses, dehumidifiers, furniture, and other related items. You will be responsible for maintaining these equipment to ensure they are always available for use.

  • Grounds Maintenance Equipment: Our grounds maintenance equipment requires regular upkeep to ensure our outdoor spaces remain well-maintained. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining this equipment to ensure it continues to function properly.

  • Mortuary Equipment: We have a range of mortuary-related appliances and equipment that require regular maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining these equipment to ensure they are always available for use.

  • Planning and Scheduling: To ensure we meet our quality control standards and governing guidelines, you will be responsible for organizing and scheduling maintenance tasks. This includes planning and coordinating with our maintenance staff to ensure tasks are completed effectively.

  • Supervision: As a Maintenance Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing our maintenance staff and ensuring tasks are completed effectively. This includes providing guidance and support to our staff to help them develop their skills and abilities.

  • Personnel Management: You will be responsible for providing input into hiring, promotions, transfers, and terminations of staff. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure we attract and retain top talent.

  • Compliance and Reporting: To ensure we comply with international, U.S., Air Force, and PWS standards, you will be responsible for ensuring all work is documented and reported accurately. This includes developing and implementing processes to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements.

  • Additional Duties: You may be required to perform other duties as directed by the Site Manager or Program leadership. This includes taking on additional responsibilities to support the success of our organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience, including basic knowledge of electrical principles, preferably on a U.S. military installation with a similar mission/project.

  • Leadership: At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Technical Skills: Experience using basic tools and instruments to repair, diagnose, assemble, adjust, test, and calibrate fitness equipment and appliances.

  • Austere Environment Experience: Previous work experience in an austere, overseas environment with a multinational workforce.

  • Customer Service: Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Licensing: Valid local driver's license and passport.

  • Security Clearance: Active Interim/Secret clearance with the ability to maintain it throughout the deployment.

  • Medical and Visa Requirements: Ability to pass contract medical requirements and obtain/maintain the necessary country visa (as required by the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).

  • Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government clearance (U.S. citizenship required for Secret clearance).
