Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a critical role in environmental management, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and programs. As a key member of our team, you will coordinate tasks within the environmental engineering discipline, supervise engineers and graduates, and develop innovative solutions for clients operating problems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate specified tasks within the environmental engineering discipline, including supervising engineers and graduates.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions for clients operating problems and capacity constraints in their existing oil and gas and petrochemical operations.
  • Manage studies and environment-orientated projects as assigned.
  • Develop and improve company standards and environment design methods.
  • Perform technical writing activities, including the production of technical reports and operating manuals.
  • Train and mentor new Environment engineering graduates to achieve professional membership.
  • Ensure working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil and Gas Business Unit.
  • Ensure personal safety and safe working practices for the Oil and Gas Business Unit, understanding and following OH&S procedures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have either an engineering degree in Environment or Chemical, or an equivalent diploma from an accredited college or university. You must also have work experience working within PMC projects in the above-mentioned industries.

You should have experience working with advanced engineering tools, data systems, and other general office/engineering software. Additionally, you can interact effectively with people of all nationalities and cultures using clear, fluent, and expressive verbal and written language.

You have broad-based knowledge of the requirements for process engineering through all phases of the project life cycle, from FEED through to Commissioning, within Oil & Gas or related industries. You demonstrate an ability to lead/coach/mentor colleagues and/or staff.

You have the ability to work under tight time constraints with excellent time management and planning skills, managing multiple priorities.
