We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the challenging task of executing Revegetation projects. This involves working closely with our team to ensure the successful development and implementation of natural vegetation and re-vegetation strategies in arid environments.
This position requires experience in seed production, nursery, greenhouse operation, seedling production, and watering systems. A strong understanding of natural vegetation and re-vegetation development is essential for this role. Proficiency in managing field activities and ensuring they align with technical requirements is also crucial.
Key Responsibilities- Seed Production and Nursery Operations: Oversee the entire process, from seed production to seedling growth, to ensure high-quality products.
- Greenhouse Management: Ensure optimal conditions for seedling growth and development, including temperature, humidity, and lighting control.
- Watering Systems and Irrigation Management: Design and implement efficient irrigation systems to minimize water waste and maximize plant growth.
- Natural Vegetation and Re-vegetation Development: Apply knowledge of native plant species and ecosystems to develop effective revegetation strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Agriculture: A degree in agriculture or a related field is required for this position.
- Experience in Revegetation Projects: A minimum number of years of experience in similar roles is necessary to qualify for this position.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with software used in automation and management of agricultural operations is preferred.
