About the Role:

As a Pool Manager and Swimming Instructor at American United School of Kuwait (AUS), you will be responsible for overseeing swimming activities, ensuring student well-being, and promoting water safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging swim lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  2. Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that nurtures students' skills and self-confidence in the water.
  3. Design and oversee swimming activities, maintaining a vigilant focus on student well-being at all times.
  4. Promote water safety awareness, instilling lifelong habits of caution and respect for aquatic environments.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or any related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an educational setting.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification (or equivalent) through the American Heart Association.
  • Strong physical fitness and a passion for water safety.
