Job Title: Bulk Plant Assistant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to assist in the bulk plant operations. As a Bulk Plant Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the cutting and preparation of cement bags, loading cement bags onto equipment, and supporting the storage and organization of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the cutting and preparation of cement bags for bulk plant operations.
  • Load cement bags onto the bulk plant equipment and assist with the unloading of materials as needed.
  • Support the storage and organization of materials in the warehouse or bulk plant, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored in the correct locations.
  • Assist in inventory counts and help monitor material levels to ensure supplies are available for daily operations.
  • Support in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the storage areas and equipment, keeping all pathways clean and thorough.
  • Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping duties around the bulk plant, ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and organized.
  • Help maintain equipment cleanliness and assist in minor maintenance tasks under the supervision of operators.
  • Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while assisting with bulk plant operations.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.
  • Participate in safety training and awareness sessions as required.
  • Work closely with operators and supervisors, assisting them in day-to-day tasks as required.
  • Ensure a smooth workflow by providing additional support during peak operational periods.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A High School or Technical Trade Certificate or Diploma is preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years relevant experience in oil field operations is required.
  • The ability to understand basic English instructions, guidelines, and procedures is essential.
  • Computer literacy is preferred.
