We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the KwIDF system and its integration with critical applications.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production support and digital oilfield systems, with experience working with KwIDF, DOF engine, well & network modeling tools, and real-time and static data validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support North Kuwait's KwIDF system and its integration with Finder, SCADA, EDM, and ALMS.
- Conduct system condition reporting, real-time validation, and advisory solutions to alerts/alarms.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DOF engine databases, physics models, and optimization workflows.
- Provide Tier 1 support for the physics-based DOF engine.
- Continuously update well and network models and system configurations.
- Perform quality checks and ensure accurate real-time/static data availability.
- Deliver mentoring and training sessions under KwIDF knowledge transfer initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of experience in production support and digital oilfield systems. They should also possess hands-on expertise with KwIDF, DOF engine, well & network modeling tools, and real-time and static data validation. Additionally, they should have proven experience in production surveillance and optimization, as well as experience with integration of SCADA, Finder, EDM, and ALMS systems.
