Job Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Virtualization Engineer to join our team at HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L. As a Data Center Virtualization Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the enterprise virtual infrastructure for all sites within the RCC-SWA Area of Responsibility.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing optimization, administration, and technical documentation for the enterprise virtual infrastructure, resolving enterprise-level change requests, and acting as the top-level of support escalation for all enterprise virtualization support issues.
You will have the opportunity to work with various data (network and system) technologies, including server, storage, and desktop virtualization technologies. You must have experience with vSphere client, ESXCLI, and PowerCLI, as well as a working knowledge of VMware vSphere 6.0 and 6.5 technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise-level Support: Provide top-tier support for VMware virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi, vCenter, vCOPS, vRealize, and SRM.
- Virtualization Configuration and Administration: Configure and administer virtual machines, ESXi hosts, and VCSAs, as well as plan, install, configure, and upgrade virtual network infrastructure.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create documentation for Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for configuring and managing the virtual environment, including virtual networking, physical hosts, VMs, access control, resource monitoring, and management.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering, or related field. One-year related experience can be substituted for one year of education.
- Certifications: IAT Level: IAT III. Baseline certifications: Cisco CCNP Security, CompTIA CASP+ ce: Advanced Security Practitioner, GIAC GCED: Certified Enterprise Defender, GIAC GCIH: Certified Incident Handler, ISACA CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor, ISC2 CISSP (or Associate): Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
- Computing Environment (CE): Cisco and NetApp Flexpod Design Specialist, Cisco and NetApp Flexpod Implementation and Administration Specialist, NetApp NCDA: Certified Data Administrator, NetApp NCIE: Certified Implementation Engineer, VMware VCAP-DCV: Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization (Deploy), VMware VCP: Certified Professional (DCV).
- Experience: At least five years of practical experience working with various data (network and system) technologies. Experience with regular virtualization capacity planning and reporting.
